a warm blanket

The weather has gotten cold these last few weeks. It's perfect during the day, but taking cold bucket showers in the morning or evening is un-fun. Goosebumps, for sure. The little cold-water-dance after pouring the first bucket over your head. Anyway, the best part about the cold weather is saying, in Khmer: "it's cold today. I want a warm blanket." Which is an ongoing joke in Khmer culture, another way of saying I want a girl sleeping with me to help keep me warm. And when I say it, it's hilarious! So basically, I've become less sweaty and more funny. Go figure.
